Crafting the Next Generation of Leaders at the Gaylord Area Council for the Arts
The Gaylord Area Council for the Arts is a pillar in the community for all things creative! This year, thanks to an $8,000 grant from our Relentless Care Foundation, the Arts Council is launching their Leadership Empowerment through Artistic Development, or LEAD Program, to advance youth leadership through the arts across the greater Gaylord area.
Support for the LEAD Program from the Relentless Care Foundation will not only help young people in Gaylord develop leadership skills and artistic skills, but will provide them a sense of belonging and a place to have their voices heard, said Lisa Marie-Tobin, formerly executive director of the Gaylord Area Council for the Arts, and now executive director of the Gaylord Downtown Development Authority.
