Supporting education & bringing wild dreams to life

orsa Scholarship Fund, in partnership with the Local Impact Alliance, is awarding 15 Michigan students with a total of $40,000 in educational funding!

Fighting back against high tuition costs

From dream jobs locked behind expensive degrees, to the training it takes to break into a lucrative trade, there’s a good chance that higher education is an essential step in the future you’re building.

We can’t stand to see Michigan students put their dreams on the backburner just because tuition costs keep rising, so we created orsa Scholarship Fund to help level the playing field.

Funding what matters most

Supporting our students isn’t just a big deal on the individual level. Investing in education creates impact that our communities, industries, and entire state will someday feel. Just like interest compounding over time, the good we do today is what sets the stage for even greater things down the road.

How do orsa scholarships work? Who can apply?

There’s a total of ten $3,000 undergraduate scholarships available, as well as five $2,000 CTE trade school scholarships.

As long as you’re an orsa member with an account opened before December 31, 2025, and you’ve applied at (or been accepted to) an undergraduate or CTE program at an accredited college, university, or trade school, then you’re welcome to apply!

orsa board members, employees, and their family members are ineligible. For a full list of qualifications, visit our Scholarships page.

How to apply for an orsa scholarship

Scholarship applications are entirely online! All you need is the last four digits of your orsa account number, your latest transcript, and a letter of recommendation from someone other than a family member.

Once you have all that together, you can start a general scholarship application here or a CTE/ Trade application here!

Not a student? You can still get involved!

Want to help support students while investing in Michigan’s future? The orsa Scholarship Fund is always accepting member contributions, and you can donate online in seconds!

If you’d like to discuss your contribution with an orsa foundation team member directly, you can reach them at foundation@orsacu.org. Every cent is another step towards bringing our students’ wild dreams to life!
