It’s official! orsa credit union is proud to partner with Plymouth-Canton Community Schools (P-CCS) on a bold, long-term investment in students, educators, and the future of our community.
A transformational partnership between orsa credit union, the credit union you knew as Community Financial, and Plymouth-Canton Community Schools (P-CCS) is bringing a long-held vision to life: a community-powered hub designed to expand opportunity, spark curiosity, and provide real-world experiences that prepare students for a rapidly changing world.
More than a sponsorship, this is a 25-year public-private collaboration built on shared belief: when students are trusted with opportunity, supported by their community, and encouraged to explore what’s possible, incredible things happen.
Located at Canton High School, the Orsa Hub serves as a dynamic ecosystem for exploration. Students will engage in robotics, artificial intelligence, digital storytelling, financial wellness, sustainability projects, and design experiences within flexible, collaborative spaces. Guided by educators, expert mentors, and strong ties to local industry, learners will apply ideas through immersive programs to foster leadership, curiosity, and creativity across their K-12 journey.
A Commitment Rooted in Home
orsa credit union was founded 75 years ago by Daisy Air Rifle factory employees in Plymouth, Michigan. This community has always been home, and public education has always been a cornerstone of the For-Impact investment the credit union is dedicated to supporting.
Our 25-year, $5 million commitment to the Orsa Hub reflects that legacy and our belief in standing with students for the long haul. Carrying the orsa name, the Hub signals a financial investment coupled with presence, partnership, and shared responsibility for what comes next.
Why is orsa investing in Students

Across the state, we support youth through modern financial education programs, student-led learning experiences, and savings tools that grow with young people as they build lifelong habits through our redesigned Save. We’ve made the 52-Week Savings Challenge even more flexible and accessible for savers at every level. So that everyone, from kids to teens and beyond, can learn to make savings a habit while experiencing the joy of boosted returns with a High Yield Savings account.
And we’re investing in a seamless Greenlight graduation to ensure that we grow with our young Michiganders as they grow their financial knowledge and responsibility.
This partnership with Plymouth-Canton Public Schools is intended to serve as our physical presence for financial education and innovation, a STEM hub, and a resource for future-focused careers, all of which are so important to fostering financial stability for years to come.
